BIO:
Mark was born in 1946 in St. Paul, Minnesota. After joining the U.S. Army in 1966, and serving on active duty as a helicopter pilot until 1970, Mark served in the Minnesota and Texas Army National Guards as a helicopter pilot until 1973. He was discharged from the military honorably at the rank of CW2.
Following graduation from law school, Mark served as an Assistant Attorney General of Texas under Attorney General John L. Hill until 1976. Mark has been an associate, partner, and member in a variety of law firms, to include a founding partner of Rohde, Chapman, Ford & How in 1980, and this firm in 1989. He has served on a number of Bar Committees, to include Committee on Ethics in 1997, Committee on New Laws 1980, Fee Disputes 1981-1984, and as a Committee member of the State Bar of Texas 6th District Grievance Committee from 1984 to 1986.
Mark has tried to verdict no less than 200 lawsuits and arbitrations, and has further been the lead attorney on no less than 100 appeals, more than 40 of them recorded decisions, to include cases before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
