MARK FRELS
BIO:
Mark was born in 1954 in Marlin, Texas. Raised in Houston, Texas, Mark later graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Philosophy and later attended Baylor University Law School, earning his Juris Doctorate in 1985. Mark began his legal practice at a small firm in Arlington, Texas. After several years, Mark relocated to Dallas, Texas to specialize in commercial litigation, and has since continuously practiced law in Dallas. Although his practice often involves litigation in a number of counties throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond, his practice is primarily focused in Dallas, Denton, and Collin Counties.
Mark has handled many state and federal civil litigation matters and a number of arbitrations. He has also briefed and successfully argued a number of appeals before the Court of Appeals in Dallas, Texas and briefed cases before the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit. A recent appeal before the Dallas Court of Appeals resulted in the affirmation of the Trial Court’s Judgment in the client's favor on a third-party action for negligent misrepresentation.
